It seems the Republicans trying to remove womens' rights has brought up another wonderful bit of hypocritical work. It seems that they had tampons, pads, etc, confiscated from women coming to protest the anti-choice laws. Alongside, of course, the continued allowing of guns. There's perspective for you.

I read an interesting comment today on a thread about the 40th anniversary of Roe v Wade. Wish I remembered to save it so I could give the appropriate person credit. House Republican recently held a session on women's reproductive rights without a woman to speak at the session. In the afternoon session, they added one woman who supported the measure and explicitly excluded a speaker the Democrats wanted to speak against it ( Read more... )
